All 7th grade students will be remote December 14-17.

Dear Caprock Families,

We would like our community to know that we have had another individual test positive in the 7th grade cohort. While not all 7th grade students and staff are direct contacts, we have again made the decision to send all 7th grade classes to remote learning for the full week of December 14th, the final week of 2nd quarter. We will be communicating with families of direct contact students tonight. Additionally, I will send a separate email to just 7th grade families concerning details surrounding remote learning and materials pickup.

All other grades and classes are occurring in-person for next week.

We also know that many of you are wondering about the school’s plans for school after Winter Break. We will be letting the community know the post Winter Break plans very soon so that you will be able to make plans for your families.

Please continue to remember to help slow the spread by doing things such as frequent hand washing, avoiding close contact with people outside your home cohort or who are sick, wearing a face covering, covering your sneezes and coughs, and cleaning/disinfecting high touch surfaces. You can learn more about COVID 19 in Mesa County and what you can do here.

All the best,

Andrew Collins
