Volunteer Opportunities
We are grateful for your willingness to support Caprock Academy through volunteer service. Whether you are a parent, guardian, or a valued community member, your time and effort directly benefit our students and school. For Caprock families, volunteer hours count toward your annual volunteer commitment. All volunteers help strengthen our programs, relieve budgetary constraints, and demonstrate strong community engagement—an essential factor in securing future grant funding. Most importantly, your example models generosity and service for our students. Thank you for investing in the success and character of our school community.
Current Opportunities
Task: Carpool Urgent Need
We currently have a family in need of afternoon transportation for two students who live near Mesa Mall.

Task: History Day Volunteers
We are seeking volunteers to help on History Day with the following:
- Escorting Visitors to and from the office to classrooms (3-4 volunteers needed throughout the day)
- Delivering food items to classrooms (2-3 volunteers from 7:45 am - 1:00 pm)
- Emptying trash to the dumpsters, after lunch time (2-3 volunteers needed from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm)
- Opening building 1 and 2 doors for volunteers/visitors (2 volunteers needed from 7:45-11:45 am, and 2 from 11:45 am-2:45pm)
The busiest time of the day that we need the most help is from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and then during lunch from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Task: Borrow Blackstone or similar Flat Top Grill/Griddle and Propane Bottle
We are looking to borrow one or two large flattop grills for our upcoming staff holiday breakfast in December. This needs to be large enough to cook for about 130 staff members.
