Why Our Educators Choose Caprock Academy
Caprock truly is a community. The staff here cares for each other just as they care for students. The students form a tight-knit group who will still accept anyone who wants to join. I choose Caprock because Caprock chooses me too.
Cecelia VanderWoude, High School Science
love Caprock. I love the education it provides my children and the employment opportunity it gives me. Caprock has a close-knit community feel. I appreciate the care and support I receive from administration and my co-workers. Caprock offers opportunities to grow and improve for both students and staff. The staff go out of their way to support our students. Our staff seem to love what they do and for the most part, they do it very very well. We are strong, resilient, courageous, and virtuous. We are a community of passionate leaders (staff and students alike), a respectful community, and good citizens. We aim to see the best and bring out the best in every person at the school.
Jennifer Buniger, Director of Finance & Parent
have taught students at three different schools in my career. In my experience, what makes the students at Caprock Academy different is their character, which Caprock intentionally aims to develop. The focus on character here bleeds into the efforts and behaviors of the students. That is not to say that there aren't students of great character at other schools, because there are. Nor is it to say that the students at Caprock don't falter at times, because they do. It does, however, speak to a difference in environments. Caprock Academy is an environment where who a student is as a person is cultivated with as much intention as who they are as a scholar and in my experience it shows.
