STAR Reading & Math Fall Universal Testing (Grades 2–9)
Required by: State of Colorado, Caprock
Time: 25–45 minutes each
Participants: All students in Grades 2–9
Purpose: Evaluates individual student and class needs and identifies Significant Reading Deficiency (SRD) under the Colorado READ Act.
July 27 – August 6, 2026
STAR Early Literacy Universal Testing (Kindergarten & Grade 1)
Required by: State of Colorado, Caprock
Time: 20–30 minutes
Participants: All Kindergarten and Grade 1 students
Purpose: Evaluates individual student and class needs and identifies Significant Reading Deficiency (SRD) under the Colorado READ Act.

Purpose: Measures proficiency, evaluates student performance, and provides practice for the SAT.

Purpose: Final progress monitoring for READ Plan students and evaluation of student growth and instructional needs.

Required by: Caprock
Time: 2.5–4 hours
Participants: Select Grades 9–12 students
Purpose: Opportunity for eligible high school students to earn college credit through Advanced Placement examinations.
