HEAD OF SCHOOL

The Board of Directors of Caprock Academy are pleased to announce that Andrew Collins will be the new Head of School starting in the 2018-19 school year. Mr. Collins has already had a long career at Caprock as a teacher and for the last three years as part of the administration team. The Board was impressed with the passion that Mr. Collins has for our school and his vision to continue and expand our success as the premier education program in the Grand Valley.

Information About the Hiring Process
Interviews of each finalist were conducted on Wednesday, April 11. This included a formal interview with the Board along with a public meeting with our community that evening.
Formal Interview with the Board
The interviews were conducted by the board as part of an executive session without public attendance pursuant to C.R.S. 26-4-402 (4) (f) regarding personnel matters, specifically, for interview of finalists for the head of school position.
Public Community Meetings
The community meetings included 45-minute meetings with each candidate then a 15-minute feedback session with Board members.
