Student Council
Student Council organizes and runs various school events and dances throughout the year. Multiple events happen each month, through which students can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with administration, staff, faculty, and parents for the benefit of the school and its students.

National Honor Society (10th-12th Grade)
The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character with students in grades ten through twelve. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921.

National Junior Honor Society Bylaws
Knowledge Bowl
Knowledge Bowl is a series of interdisciplinary academic competitions designed for students. During the competition, teams compete in written and oral rounds by answering questions related to all areas of learning typical of secondary educational programs. Questions test students' recall, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

The 7:45 Show
The 7:45 Show is a student written, acted, produced, and filmed product. The group produces a biweekly 5-7 minute program that covers school news and announcements. It is created by our high school students for the entire campus.

National History Day
NHD offers year-long academic programs that engage over half a million middle- and high-school students around the world annually in conducting original research on historical topics of interest. Since 1974, NHD has continuously improved history education by providing professional development opportunities and curriculum materials for educators. The largest NHD program is the National History Day Contest that encourages more than half a million students around the world to conduct historical research on a topic of their choice. Students enter these projects at the local and affiliate levels, with top students advancing to the National Contest at the University of Maryland at College Park.

High School Ski & Snowboarding Club
Love the slopes? Join Ski & Board Club! High school students will enjoy skiing and snowboarding with friends while building skills, practicing safety, and participating in fun group trips to local mountains. This club is open to students in 9th through 12th grade.

Drama Club
Drama Club is an extracurricular creative environment that grants learners insight into the dramatic arts. Learners will practice all aspects of theatre—from acting skills and terminology to set design and costuming—to gain a more comprehensive appreciation and understanding of the art. Members will have ample opportunity to get comfortable on the stage, become familiar with standard acting/technical methods and terminology, and perform for their community and peers. It serves as an addendum for high schoolers in theatre class or a preparatory activity for middle schoolers on their way up. It is open to all learners who are interested in drama or want to rehearse their speaking or social comfort skills!

Are you passionate about blending science, technology, engineering, art, and math? Join STEAM Club! High school students will engage in creative projects, innovative problem-solving, and hands-on experiences that connect multiple disciplines in exciting ways. This club is open to students in 9th through 12th grade.

4-H (Ages 6-18)
4-H is a positive youth development organization that is part of Colorado State University Extension. Caprock Academy students ages 6-18 are welcome join, select projects, & engage in community service and leadership activities!

Cheer Club (Grades 7-12)
Show your school spirit and leadership by joining Cheer Club! Open to boys and girls in grades 7–12, this club promotes teamwork, confidence, and school pride through cheer, dance, tumbling, stunting, and performances. Members will learn basic cheer techniques, develop routines for school events, and build camaraderie while encouraging a positive and supportive atmosphere. Whether you’re new to cheer or have prior experience, Cheer Club is a fun way to get involved, stay active, and represent Caprock Academy with pride.
