Dress Code 2026-2027

Dress Code Updates

Important updates to dress code expectations for the upcoming school year

Caprock Academy has updated Policy SE 6.0: Dress Code for the 2026–2027 school year. These updates reflect our continued commitment to creating a focused, respectful, and distraction-free learning environment where students are prepared for success.

As part of our classical approach to education, student presentation plays an important role in supporting attention, accountability, and academic growth. A consistent dress code helps ensure that all students are able to fully engage in their learning without unnecessary distractions.

Over time, elements of the dress code have become more relaxed. Moving into the upcoming school year, we are intentionally refocusing on the importance of maintaining clear and consistent expectations across all grade levels.

What Families Need to Know

  • The updated dress code policy applies to all students K–12
  • Expectations will be in place beginning July 20, 2026 (first day of school)
  • Dress code will be consistently enforced across all grade levels
  • Families should review all current uniforms, shoes, and dress code items
  • All new purchases should align with the updated policy

Uniform Compliance

Students who are not in compliance with the dress code may be required to:

  • Change into school-provided uniform items
  • Have a parent/guardian bring appropriate clothing
  • Be sent home if the issue cannot be corrected on campus

Repeated violations may result in additional disciplinary action.

The Caprock Academy Board of Directors fully supports faculty and administration in enforcing the dress code, as it is in place for the benefit of all students.

Partnering with Families

The education of each student is a partnership between home and school. We ask families to support this transition by ensuring students arrive at school in dress code each day and by discussing expectations at home prior to the start of the school year.

Clear and consistent communication between home and school helps students meet expectations with confidence and success.
