Summer Reading
Caprock students entering 1st through 12th grades are required to read during summer break and should be prepared for book discussion on the first day of school. Summer Reading for Caprock Academy Staff
At Caprock Academy, we believe that great educators are also lifelong learners. Each summer, our teachers, educational assistants, office staff, and administrators participate in a shared reading experience selected by the administrative team. This tradition strengthens our professional culture, encourages meaningful dialogue, and helps us grow together as a unified learning community.
The 2026 staff summer reading selections will be announced soon.
Staff will engage with these texts throughout the summer and come together for discussion and reflection at the start of the school year. Together, we read to lead.
