K-6 Monthly Reading Challenge
Inspiring a Love of Reading, One Month at a Time
At Caprock Academy, we believe reading is foundational to a student’s academic success and personal growth. Our Monthly Reading Challenge encourages students in grades K–6 to develop strong reading habits while having fun along the way.
Each month, students are invited to participate in a themed challenge that promotes reading both at home and in the classroom. Challenges are optional, but highly encouraged for all K–6 students.
📚 How It Works:

A new challenge is introduced at the beginning of each month.

Students track their reading using a printable Reading Tracker.

Completed trackers are submitted to the homeroom teacher by the end-of-month deadline.

Participation may be recognized with small classroom incentives or school-wide celebrations!
