High School Graduation

Graduation at Caprock Academy is a celebration of academic achievement, personal growth, and strong character. It marks the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication, guided by the values of truth, beauty, and goodness that define a Caprock education.

Our graduation ceremony honors not only academic accomplishments but also the formation of well-rounded young adults who are prepared to lead lives of purpose, integrity, and service. Students are recognized for their commitment to excellence in academics, the arts, athletics, and citizenship.

Each year, our senior class gathers with family, friends, faculty, and staff to celebrate this important milestone. Together, we reflect on the journey, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the future with confidence.

Caprock Academy is proud to graduate students who are not only college- and career-ready, but also grounded in wisdom, guided by virtue, and prepared to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Graduation Day Schedule

Thursday, May 21, 2026

  • 8:30-9:30 am: Senior Group Photo Session. Students should arrive promptly in your caps and gowns, ready to be photographed! 
  • 9:30–11:30 am: Schoolwide Celebration of Graduates on the South Field. Parents and family members are welcome to attend.
    • Parents please park in the south parking lot, and go straight to the South Field. 
    • Please note that you do not need to check in with the office, however you will not be allowed inside any of the buildings, you must stay on the South Field at all times.  
  • 1:00–2:30 pm: Graduation Rehearsal at the Asteria Theatre
  • 5:00 pm: Doors open for parents and guests
  • 5:00–5:30 pm: Students arrive at Asteria to prepare for graduation ceremony
  • 6:00–7:00 pm: Caprock Academy’s 2026 Commencement Ceremony at the Asteria Theatre, Colorado Mesa University

Asteria Theatre & Colorado Mesa University Campus Rules

The following items are NOT PERMITTED on CMU’S campus or in the Asteria Theater:

  • Confetti cannons
  • Silly string
  • Balloons
  • Beach balls
  • Noisemakers
  • Glitter
  • Food or beverages
