Volunteers have many opportunities to help Caprock Academy. Families have Family Support Hours to fulfill, but interested community members can also bring their time, talent, and dedication to Caprock. We have a list of committees (see below) on which you may serve. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:
- Serving on a committee
- Fundraising
- Grant writing
- Marketing, advertising
- Event coordination
- Much more!
If you wish to volunteer or to find out about volunteer opportunities, please go to our Contact Us form and let us know what kinds of things you are interested in doing and what times you are generally available. We will be happy to help find an appropriate volunteer position for you!
For most committees you do not need prior experience. All that is required is a desire to make a difference and a commitment to take on projects, conduct research, plan, organize, and implement. Some will become leaders, others will be doers. We strive to make sure you are in a place you where you can contribute most comfortably.
Volunteering is more than just a word. It’s about committment to your community, and to yourself. It shows you’re a true leader.
That’s why Caprock Academy has certain minimum goals for each parent and student to achieve each month, in order to volunteer their time back into the community.
